Your Responsibilities:
Design
- Design and develop responsive, visually engaging, and SEO-friendly websites using Figma and Webflow.
- Develop and maintain client and developer friendly Figma files
- Help clients and teammates understand both the possibilities and constraints of building in Webflow; when presenting Figma designs.
- Design and create animation guidance for website interactions and micro animations
Build
- Build websites that empower in-house client teams to take over a project and expand upon it easily; Create client-friendly CMS structures that makes it easy to add and edit content
- Build and document complex CMS structures in Webflow
- Integrate existing JavaScript libraries with Webflow to extend functionality (e.g. Finsweet Attributes, SwiperJS, GSAP, etc.)
- Implement and maintain high-quality SEO policies and incorporate them with content produced for the website.
- Integrate our websites with third party integrations for analytics, tracking, automation, and design.
- Write and debug custom code (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery) to add features and functionality to the sites we build
- Execute thorough quality assurance across devices (desktop, tablet, mobile) and major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge)
Maintain
- Make edits to and extend the functionality of existing Webflow websites
- Review websites other team members have worked on and make edits without impacting other styles across the website or created unnecessary classes
What we're looking for:
- At least 3 years of experience in web design and development, with a strong portfolio of Webflow projects.
- Skilled in designing responsive, visually appealing websites that meet accessibility standards.
- Able to create or tweak graphics for web designs.
- Proficient with Webflow frameworks (especially Client First and Lumos), and skilled in using Webflow’s visual editor, grid system, interactions, and animations.
- Experience working with clients, as part of a team, or freelancing—agency experience is a big plus.
- Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and can develop custom code for low-code tools.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Good understanding of SEO best practices, site performance, page speed, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility.
- Capable of developing and testing website applications, creating design elements, and troubleshooting website issues.
- Strong problem-solving skills, especially for debugging in Webflow.
- Familiar with using Google Analytics to track site traffic and engagement.
Nice to Have:
- Advanced front-end development skills, including creating complex layouts and animations.
- Experience with GSAP for animations.
- Experience with 3D design tools like Spline and Rive.
