We are seeking a talented and creative individual with proven Webflow experience to join our team! You will work closely with the Marketing Manager and UX designer implement complex API and integrations (PIXEL, Stripe, Mailchimp, Zapier, Typeform, Monday), optimize our SEO, and develop Figma designs into WebFlow.
This position is remote, starting with 10 hours per week, with the opportunity to add more hours and possibly move into a full-time position.This part-time position requires working within standard business hours, 9 AM - 5 PM EST, to facilitate communication and collaboration with team members. You must also be available to attend a few weekly Zoom meetings to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Job Responsibilities
1. API Integration and Management
- Lead the implementation and customization of MEWS booking platform APIs to enable direct booking capabilities on the company website, eliminating the need for third-party redirections.
- Ensure seamless functionality of hospitality-related APIs, including booking, availability, add-on packages, and user profile management.
2. Web Development and UX Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with the UX designer to transform Figma designs into fully functional and responsive Webflow web pages that align with our brand’s aesthetic and usability standards.
- Enhance user interface elements for an optimal user experience, ensuring alignment with both design intent and technical feasibility.
3. SEO Optimization and Performance Enhancement
- Optimize site architecture, content structure, and page load speeds to improve SEO performance and search rankings, with a focus on boosting online visibility in the hospitality industry.
- Conduct routine assessments and updates on SEO practices to maintain competitive site performance.
4. Payment and Email Integration
- Integrate Stripe for secure payment processing directly on the website, providing a smooth checkout experience for booking-related transactions.
- Develop and manage email marketing integrations with Mailchimp, ensuring automated and targeted communication with prospective and returning guests.
5. New Web Development Projects and Tool Integrations
- Design and develop additional websites as needed using Webflow, implementing interactive features and advanced functionality via integrations with tools such as PIXEL, Zapier, Typeform, and Monday.com.
- Collaborate with the IT Manager to identify and deploy new technology solutions that streamline workflows and enhance user engagement.
6. Quality Assurance and Technical Support
- Conduct comprehensive testing of all developed features to ensure bug-free performance and a high-quality user experience.
- Provide technical support to the internal team, addressing issues related to Webflow, API integrations, or other web development aspects as they arise.
- Continuously review and refine development processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and alignment with project goals.
