We are looking for a fantasic Designer who shares a passion for quality and collaboration to join our expanding team of Experience Designers. We’re looking for someone who’s ready to take the next step in their career, who’s excited by the opportunity of helping further develop our agency direction and the services, products and value we provide to a cast of amazing clients.
Position Summary
This role is aimed at Experience Designers with 2+ years experience with a great Webflow knowledge
Experience Designer will work within a team environment to deliver best-in-class Experience solutions for a range of retained & non-retained clients. This position will work on a broad range of projects with clients from a diverse range of backgrounds, including; digital transformations, company websites, software portals, eCommerce stores, digital products, landing pages, and web and mobile applications.
You will also be working with a team of highly skilled Experience Designers, you will help drive the focus of design forward into the future and naturally be fascinated by human nature and how best to design for the right audience. With demonstrable leadership skills and strong creative flair you will contribute significantly to progressing new business by championing and demonstrating JTB’s unique capability to our clients.

Key Areas of Responsibility (including but not limited to)
Experience Design
- Solving complex experience and UI and visual design problems with simple and elegant outcomes.
- Designing experiences that meet end user needs, while also balancing the business objectives of the client within constraints of project scopes.
- Facilitating workshops, leading discovery and design sprints, and design reviews
- Ensuring quality standards are met and leading this by example
- Lead the way in UX best practice for the agency and design team going forward
- Collaborate on strategy phases of projects ensuring we are defining and solving the correct problems and planning the best way to deliver our solutions.
- Assisting in new business with design of proposals and new pitch decks
- Confidently present work to and collaborate with clients and peers.
- Ability to present and concisely explain / discuss design options to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong UI and visual design skills with the ability to execute final design mockups to a high standard, following all UX and strategic recommendations.
- Leading and inspiring not only the design team but the various cross-functional teams made up of colleagues from the client service, marketing, delivery and development disciplines
- Guiding the team as to new ways of working, designing and assisting them in acquiring new skills, capability and overall UX understanding
- Helping to manage senior stakeholder relationships for various new & existing clients
- Clearly present your ideas and rationale through prototypes, diagrams, mockups, etc.

Required Skills & Attributes
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in thought leadership, facilitation and stakeholder management
- Passion for developing and inspiring others
- Broad range of research and UX-based skills
- Broad range of UI and Experience Design skills
- Demonstrated experience and ability to influence and coach colleagues and clients
- At least 4-6 years of working as a UI, interaction, or UX designer
- A wide range of design experience (ideally across mobile and web projects)
- Experience working closely with developers and other designers.
- Ability to effectively manage your project and task allocation hours and resourcing commitments.
- Ability to work alongside our project delivery, performance marketing and development teams to facilitate delivering outcomes on time and budget.
- Confidence and curiosity to provide design insight, consulting support and guidance to clients.
- Not just an ability to, but an enjoyment of, working autonomously, mentoring and upskilling others within the team.
- Ability to find a potential problem to solve or opportunity to obtain, versus being given a specified client brief – you are a problem finder not just a problem solver.
- Experience in agile projects and active participation in agile ceremonies would also be well received.

Additional Information
- Due to the nature of the position and industry, there may be a requirement to work outside normal business hours and occasional interstate travel.
