We're a UK-based Webflow agency, launching multiple new websites/pages for different clients each month.
We're looking for an experienced person to provide QA for these websites/pages prior to launch, to make sure that they're complete as per design/content requirements, free-of-bugs, and provide good user experience overall.
These are mostly marketing sites, requiring a manual/visual QA approach (as opposed to automated testing used for web apps), hence you will need to have excellent attention-to-detail.
You will be required to liaise directly with each project's manager and developer(s), organising and managing the testing, reporting, and resolution cycle, to ensure that all pages are ready for launch.
Ultimately, our developers will be accountable to you for ensuring that they complete their work to a high standard before & during the testing phase, and you will be accountable to the project managers for ensuring that the sites/pages are fully ready for launch before they're handed over to them for subsequent client review.
We currently use apps such as Markup (markup,io) and SuperFlow (usesuperflow.com) for feedback around testing, but are open to suggestions for other tools that would make this process more efficient.
We use Slack, Nifty PM, and Google Meet for comms, and we're also big fans of Loom – so it's important to us that you are an excellent communicator and comfortable using this medium to communicate.
We also value team players, so would want you to get to know your colleagues and feel proud to be one of the Flow Guys! Although this most-likely a part-time/freelance role, we don't want to feel like we're just one of the many clients that you're juggling – we will need you to be committed to the role, and will be happy to provide whatever you need to ensure you are able to excel at it with complete autonomy.
If you think you're the perfect fit for this role, then please record a Loom video introducing yourself, outlining your approach and experience in this field, and your hourly rate expectations. We won't be reviewing any applications that do not include this – a first test of your attention-to-detail!
We look forward to hearing from you.
