We're looking to hire a talented Web Developer with a background in Wordpress and Webflow to assist with several ongoing and future projects. The ideal candidate has experience designing on the fly as well as developing websites from a Figma prototype. The types of websites will include static sites, blogs, forums, and LMS based websites. Knowledge of Wordpress and it's plug-ins is required to develop and maintain the client projects. Knowledge of Webflow and it's integrations is required to develop and maintain our company's websites.
Responsibilities
- Update and debug the existing and future websites
- Collaborate with the project team to design websites based on project requirements
- Collaboration with other designers, developers, and clients may be necessary to create unique and lasting web experiences for all users
- Ensure designs follow web standards, accessibility, and usability best practices
- Quickly turn Figma designs into working websites by developing them in Webflow or Wordpress
- Set up necessary plug-ins and integrations based on project needs
Key Qualifications
- Basic design skills to create new sections or layouts on the fly
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Highly experienced with Wordpress
- Has experience setting up and maintaining Wordpress plug-ins
- Extensive knowledge of Webflow design, development, and integrations
- Has experience developing Figma prototypes into working websites
- Basic understanding of Javascript may be necessary for integrating plug-ins
- A strong willingness to learn new skills if they are necessary to complete the project
Nice to Have
- Previous usage of javascript, particularly animation libraries
- A strong understanding of custom Webflow forms, and integrations with third party software
- Experience using Figma
- A previous start-up track record or hands-on experience with a large product so you have a clear understanding of what you’re getting in to
