The Role
Arketa is looking for someone to own and manage our website product, which includes building websites for our partners using their inputs (copy, colors, images, etc) within our pre-defined framework (set pages, rounds of revisions, etc).
Because we have a clearly outlined website product, there will be some design needed, but this role is focused on applying the partner’s inputs within our frameworks, and building beautiful, mobile responsive websites, that can be easily updated by our partners.
You’ll work with partners and their onboarding specialist to understand needs and compile requirements, build their website, turn any partner feedback, launch their website, and set them up for success to edit their own website moving forward.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with partners to understand their needs and requirements.
- Create and implement designs that meet the needs of our partners and their clients, and fits within the specifications of Arketa’s website product.
- Provide feedback within your area of expertise on new or existing products to help improve their effectiveness or usability.
- Build fully functional Webflow websites from partner requirements.
- Connect partners’ domains within our Webflow instance.
- Make edits to and extend the functionality of existing Webflow websites.
- Create client-friendly CMS structures that make it easy to add and edit content.
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ years as a Webflow designer or developer, whether in-house, agency, or freelance
- Expertise in web design fundamentals, including typography, color, layout, accessibility, and responsive design, and the ability to follow brand guidelines and prioritize brand consistency
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JS frameworks preferred
- Experience with domain registration and DNS management
- Exceptional technical problem-solving skills and the ability to follow deadlines and execute under pressure
- Experience in a customer-facing role
