Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Freelance Webflow Developer to assist in executing the design and development of a medium-sized website. You will collaborate closely with our design team and project manager to bring an existing design to life on Webflow, ensuring the site is responsive, fast, and user-friendly. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Webflow and a strong understanding of web development best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and build a high-quality, responsive website using Webflow, based on provided design mockups and wireframes.
- Components should be developed in such a way that allows our client to easily update, edit, and add onto site.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure the website is visually aligned with the creative direction and brand standards.
- Implement animations, interactions, and dynamic content in Webflow.
- Integrate third-party tools and plugins as necessary (e.g., forms, e-commerce, marketing tools).
- Optimize site performance, ensuring fast load times and mobile-friendly layouts.
- Ensure SEO best practices are followed for the website structure and on-page elements.
- Perform cross-browser testing and resolve any compatibility issues.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise during the development process.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance during and after the website launch as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience developing websites on Webflow.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Webflow’s built-in features (e.g., CMS, interactions).
- Familiarity with web design principles, responsive design, and UI/UX best practices.
- Ability to translate design mockups (e.g., Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD) into functional Webflow sites.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in design implementation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate remotely with a team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with integrating APIs and custom code into Webflow projects.
- Knowledge of SEO and web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, etc.).
Project Scope
- The website will be of medium size, containing up to no more than 30 pages.
- The site will include standard pages (home, about, contact), as well as potentially some dynamic CMS-based pages.
- Design files will be provided, and you will be responsible for development, optimization, and launching the site.
