While our focus is on low-code tools, this role demands substantial JavaScript expertise, making it an ideal opportunity for developers who want to test the limits of what's possible in Webflow.
Responsibilities
As a Web Developer with Cloud Canal, you'll be responsible for a diverse set of tasks, including:
- Building and maintaining Webflow sites, adhering to our internal style guide and best practices.
- Enhancing and fine-tuning our open-source JavaScript framework for creating no-code web apps in Webflow.
- Developing and refining style guides and templates within Webflow.
- Architecting and creating back-ends and APIs using Xano.
- Crafting Webflow Apps that align with our product offerings.
Key Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess the following:
- Webflow: A deep understanding of Webflow, including experience in crafting app-like features like those in membership sites and SaaS products.
- HTML, CSS, and JavaScript: Proficiency in these essential web development languages, with a particular emphasis on JavaScript. If you're capable of building a website with code from scratch, we want to talk to you!
- Xano: Familiarity with Xano to architect and develop robust back-ends and APIs.
- GitHub: A working knowledge of GitHub for version control and collaboration.
- Strong English Skills: Effective communication in English, both written and spoken.
Nice-to-Haves
While not essential, the following skills and experiences will give you an edge:
- Front-End Frameworks: Experience with front-end JS frameworks such as React.
- Webflow App Development: A track record of building for the new Webflow Apps platform.
- JavaScript Libraries and Components: Experience building and utilizing JavaScript libraries and components for web development.
