Defijn is Hiring! We’re searching for a Webflow Developer:Defijn is seeking a highly skilled and experienced South African based Webflow Developer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our organisation, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining our web projects using Webflow. You will be responsible for developing visually appealing and interactive user experiences that are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with our client's needs and strategic objectives.
What will you do in this role?
- Design, develop, manage, build and maintain websites using Webflow
- Collaborate with our Project Managers, Creative Director, Project Leads, Art Directors, Designers and Digital Marketing specialists to deliver engaging and highly performant Webflow experiences.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UX and UI designs
- Debug and troubleshoot technical issues
- Optimise sites for maximum speed, scalability, SEO and responsiveness
- Make edits/updates to pre-existing websites
- Assist in the updating of DNS records to launch sites
- Integrate websites with other sites/application APIs
- Leverage low-code tools such as Webflow, Wized, Memberstack, Airtable to develop early-stage low code applications
- Keep up-to-date on design trends

Must haves
- Excellent knowledge of Webflow (including CMS functionality)
- At least 2 years of experience creating beautiful and functional websites using Webflow
- Good fundamental understanding of HTML semantics, Web accessibility and best practices
- Experience working remotely and the ability to work independently to reach deadlines
- An eye for communication design and interaction design
- A strong portfolio showcasing key competencies and skills
- Experience working in agile teams, with strong communication skills in order to discuss design decisions with developers, copywriters and product owners
- Ability to present your work and sell your solutions
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively in conjunction with engineering and product teams
Additional Skills
Any of these are a significant plus:
- Experience in UX & UI design
- Experience using Figma
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and Javascript
- Experience using Wized, Memberstack, Airtable and Lottie
- Experience using other low-code tools like Bubble or Flutterflow
- Experience with Shopify and Wordpress
