Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Web Developer to join our growing team based in Washington, D.C. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to function, according to our specifications. You will strive to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites that ensure a seamless user experience. Key Responsibilities
Website Development
- Build website features and functionality using webflow including the use of multiple webflow versions
- Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code using web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability
Continual Improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate user feedback into the web design and development process
- Troubleshoot and debug website issues to ensure smooth functioning
Website Revamp
- Revamp the current website by redesigning the home page with audience-specific navigation, enhancing visual appeal with updated branding, moving illustrations, and banners, integrating credibility logos, and adding a central login button for streamlined access
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years experience as a Web Developer using Webflow
- Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Proficiency in using webflow CMS and other Webflow functionalities
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles and tools
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a passion for learning and sharing knowledge
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as needed
- Demonstrated can-do attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality service
