Position Summary
We are looking for a Website Designer with experience designing high-quality websites and developing them in Webflow. The Web Designer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the digital presence for the RYVYL family of brands. This includes designing, building, and maintaining all websites, UX design, product research, and implementation of Search Engine Optimization(SEO) standards. They will work closely and under the supervision of our Head of Design and Product Development to deliver best in class digital / web content that is brand relevant and drives our business goals. The ideal fit is someone who has an incredible web design aesthetic, experience building and deploying websites with Webflow, an understanding of blockchain technology, and can work quickly and proficiently in the web/digital space to ultimately drive success for our Company.
Essential Functions
- Work closely with the product team to integrate design concepts into functional websites.
- Design visually appealing and user-friendly website designs that align with brand guidelines.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity design mockups to effectively communicate design ideas.
- Utilize expertise in Webflow to build and launch responsive websites that meet performance and functionality standards.
- Implement clean, efficient, and well-documented code for seamless user experiences.
- Ensure compatibility across various browsers and devices.
- Maintain and update websites with new pages, features, and any other stakeholder requirements pertaining to the products.
- Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve issues, bugs, or inconsistencies in the website's performance.
- Implement optimization strategies to enhance website speed, responsiveness, and overall user experience.
- Debug pages and fix broken links or images
- Build, maintain, update & optimize all websites
- Ensure that all aspects of UX Design and the end-user's interaction with the company, its services, and its products is best in class
- Manage & monitor server performance
Qualifications
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required with a at least 2 years experience
- Solid understanding of web design principles, user experience, and responsive design.
- Proficiency in Webflow and experience with other relevant web development tools like WordPress
- Experience working with digital products and collaborating in cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for design aesthetics
- Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and technical concepts.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript Skills
- Basic knowledge of imaging and design software like Photoshop, Figma or Sketch
