Heka Design is currently searching for a freelance Intermediate or Senior Webflow Developer to join our team on a project-by-project basis, working with a diverse range of growing startups & SMBs on migrations, new development projects, and ongoing maintenance.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in Figma and entry-level JavaScript, and will be well-versed in Webflow development.
What will you be doing ?
- Develop responsive and user-friendly websites and web applications using Webflow
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable class structure that adheres to the proprietary classes framework or the Client First Framework.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues with existing web projects, and implement fixes as needed.
- Perform project reviews to ensure the quality and consistency of the Webflow project.
- Integrate web projects with third-party APIs and services
- Optimize web projects for performance and scalability
- Test and debug issues to ensure the stability and reliability of the codebase
- Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with new web technologies and trends
We would love to get to know you if you have the following…
- 2+ years of experience in web design and development, with a focus on landing page creation, updates, and new page development
- Extensive expertise and experience with Webflow
- Experience working with Figma and translating design to Webflow projects.
- Excellent async communication and ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work
- Proactive learner and problem solver
- Understanding of design and responsivity best practices.
- Curiosity to explore and extend new low-code platforms like Webflow
Desired (but not essential)
- Knowledge of class naming conventions like Tailwind or Client First
- Understanding of basic SEO code best practices
- French speaker
- Experience with Wized, Xano or Bubble
- Extensive expertise and experience with WordPress
- Front-end development skills in JavaScript (ES6) in accordance with Webflow projects.
- Experience with complex CMS structures within Webflow.
- Designing and developing in accordance with WCAG specifications
