Consultancy Description
Bond & Grace seeks a web development consultant with expertise in Webflow, Shopify (especially Storefront API), and search engine optimization (SEO) to supplement our in-house team in the development and maintenance of our website.
Scope of Work
Project 1: Prepare the Site for Pinterest Merchant Application by February 29th
- Priority: HIGH
- Corroborate current website requirements to become a Pinterest approved merchant and make the final necessary adjustments to the site to apply at the end of February.
Project 2: Develop Collections and Edits Pages by March 31st
- Priority: HIGH
- Support the launch of new products through the creation of specific Edits and Collections pages. The Bond & Grace team will provide creative direction and guidance regarding requirements based on the existing site structure. Adapt Menu and Footer accordingly.
Project 3: Add Upselling Functionality
- Priority: HIGH
- Help increase conversion through the integration/development of upselling functionality on product pages and at checkout.
Project 4: Add Search Functionality
- Priority: HIGH
- Add search functionality to the site based on keywords and various product characteristics, maximizing efficiency in the tagging process with the greatest practicable automation.
Project 5: Add autoplay video and Instagram Ticker
- Priority: HIGH
- Help improve product merchandising by adding autoplay video in key pages. Finish Instagram ticker to feature key posts on the website.
Project 6: Improve SEO
- Priority: HIGH
- Optimize site content and image naming for better search engine results ranking.
Project 7: Improve Blog With Key Features
- Priority: MEDIUM
- Add blog filters, improve post categories, and post recommendations based on reader’s interest.
Ongoing: Track and share website analytics on a monthly basis
- Priority: HIGH
- Take the lead on website analytics, sharing key metrics on a monthly basis and troubleshooting tracking issues as necessary.
Ongoing: Stay Abreast of Shopify Storefront API Changes
- Priority: HIGH
- Keep current on Shopify’s Storefront API changes to prevent and troubleshoot issues resulting from feature/services changes/deprecation.
Required Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Webflow development and Shopify headless implementation.
- Knowledge of SEO with measurable results to share with the team as part of the application .process
- Knowledge of Shopify Storefront API or sufficient understanding of APIs to quickly gain the familiarity .to resolve issues
- Meticulous attention to detail, with top-notch organizational skills and time management.
Hours, Location, and Payment
- This consultancy will be project-based, with the potential of becoming an ongoing scope of work.
- Candidates on Eastern Time Zone, especially Chattanooga, Tennessee, or the Washington, DC metro area are preferred to allow for periodic in person collaboration.
- Competitive pay, commensurate with experience.
