Responsibilities
- Develop and launch visually appealing and fully functional websites within the WordPress and Webflow CMS, ensuring mobile-friendliness and responsive design.
- Collaborate closely with management and team members on design and development projects, bringing innovative ideas and technical solutions to the table.
- Implement and assess SEO best practices to enhance website visibility and performance.
- Utilize HTML, CSS, and Adobe Creative Suite to craft engaging and impactful web designs.
- Manage email campaigns and communication strategies with proficiency in Mailchimp.
- Apply user design (UI) principles to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that elevate user experience.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Technical Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing and developing WordPress and Webflow websites.
- Proficiency in responsive design/development practices for both mobile and desktop platforms.
- Strong front-end development skills, including HTML5, CSS, and Javascript.
- Experience gathering data via APIs, with knowledge of JSON, XML, and MySQL as a plus.
- Familiarity with web analytics reporting tools such as Google Analytics 4.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite Apps.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- A portfolio showcasing your expertise in website and email development, highlighting WordPress and Webflow projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
And a Big Plus if you have any of these qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design
- 5+ years' of creative design experience and print production
- Strong experience using design software such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Strong typography and copy writing skills
