We are looking for a passionate and talented Webflow Developer contractor to join our team and help us create high-performing landing pages for some of the best startups in the world.
The Contractor We’re Looking For
As a Webflow Developer, you will play a crucial role in bringing our clients' digital marketing strategies to life. Working closely with our UX/UI Designers, you will be responsible for developing and deploying responsive, high-performing websites on Webflow. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will ensure that the final product not only matches the approved designs but also exceeds our clients' expectations in functionality and usability.
Key Responsibilities
- Webflow Development
- Utilize Webflow to build responsive, high-quality websites based on designs provided by our UX/UI Designers. Ensure that the websites are optimized for performance, SEO, and align with Webflow best practices.
- Integration with third-party analytics and lead-capturing tools
- Integrate Google Tag Manager and other lead-capturing tools like Hubspot Forms and Calendly
- Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with our UX/UI Designers to understand the design intent and ensure accurate translation into Webflow. Maintain clear and effective communication with the Product Lead and other team members to align on project timelines and objectives.
- Quality Assurance
- Conduct thorough testing of the websites across multiple browsers and devices to ensure compatibility and responsiveness. Identify and fix any issues or bugs to guarantee a seamless user experience.
- Optimization and Deployment
- Implement conversion rate optimization strategies within the Webflow environment to enhance the effectiveness of the landing pages. Ensure websites are properly deployed and integrated with any necessary marketing or analytics tools.
- Continuous Learning
- Stay updated with the latest Webflow features and web development trends to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of your work.
Who is our ideal candidate?
- Experienced Webflow Developer
- Proven track record of developing high-quality websites in Webflow. Familiarity with Webflow's capabilities, limitations, and best practices.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies that complement Webflow development.
- Detail-Oriented
- Strong attention to detail to ensure the final product is a faithful and functional execution of the design.
- Problem Solver
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve development-related issues creatively and efficiently.
- Team Player
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within the Product Team.
- User-Centric
- Understanding of UX principles and how to implement them in website development to enhance user experience and conversion rates.
Nice to Haves / Bonus Points
- A portfolio showcasing successful Webflow projects and their impact on client objectives.
- Knowledge of event tracking and analytics setup within Google Tag Manager
- Experience integrating other third-party tools and APIs in Webflow, like Hubspot Meetings, Marketo, Salesforce, etc.
- Understanding of the venture-backed startup ecosystem and the unique challenges and opportunities it presents.
